Washing by hand is gentler to the paint-
work than an automatic car wash. The
paintwork is also more sensitive when it
is new. For this reason, handwashing is
recommended during the first few months
with a new car.
Automatic dipped beam. Main beam
flash works but not the fixed main
beam.
Parking lamps
Dipped beam. Switches off when the
engine is switched off. Main beam can
be activated.
Manual headlamp levelling (automatic
for Xenon lights*).
Display and instrument lighting.
Front fog lamps
Fog lamp rear (only driver's side).

Applying
1.
Depress the foot brake firmly – then the
parking brake pedal (1).
2.
Release the foot brake. If the car rolls – de-
press the parking brake pedal further.
3.
When parking – select gear position 1
(manual) or P (automatic).
Releasing
1.
Depress the foot brake firmly and then pull
the handle (2) – the parking brake pedal
rises.
2.
The foot brake can be released.
Use clean water and a sponge. Remem-
ber that dirt and gravel may scratch the
paintwork.
