Connecting the DC Adapter
Connect the DC adapter to the B-EP2DL or B-EP4DL series printer using the
following procedure.
Please note that the procedure is explained supposing the DC adapter has been
installed on a vehicle.
For how to check the charge status, please refer to the Owner's Manual of the
B-EP2D/B-EP4DL series Owner's Manual.
1 Make sure that the battery pack is in the printer
2 Connect the plug of this device to the DCIN connector on the printer.
The external power source symbol is displayed on the printer LCD, and battery
charge starts. Whether the battery charge is required or not is automatically
determined by the printer.
3. When the charging is completed, disconnect the device from the printer.
NOTE:
Charging time may differ depending on the condition of the battery pack or the
operating temperature.

Troubleshooting

If you have any problems on this product or portable printer when in use, please check the
following point first. If a problem cannot be solved by taking actions described below, disconnect
this product from the printer and contact the dealer or an authorized TOSHIBA TEC service
representative for assistance.

• The adapter is not connected to the vehicle properly.
