Tip: The phonebook is not locked when you restrict
outgoing calls to numbers stored in the phonebook. To
prevent a user from adding (and then calling) a new
phonebook entry, you may want to lock the phonebook.
See the "Lock Application" item on page 58.

Troubleshooting

Check these questions first if you have problems with
your phone. If you need additional help, contact the

Press . If you do not see
your phone number, contact your
service provider.
The battery level indicator should
have at least one segment
B in showing ( C ). If it does not,
recharge your battery. See
page 19.
Make sure that your antenna is
fully extended. The signal strength
indicator should have at least one
j in segment showing ( 1 ). If it does
not, move to an area with a
stronger signal to use your phone.
While on a call, press the upper
volume key on the side of your
phone.
