SSID
Enables or disables the camera's wireless function. By default, the
function is disabled.
Infrastructure: This operation mode requires the presence of a Wireless
LAN (WLAN) Access Point or Router. All communication is done via
the Access Point or Router.
Ad-Hoc: Select this mode if you want to connect to another wireless
station in the Wireless LAN network without going through an Access
Point or Router. This is for peer-to-peer connection.
The SSID (up to 32 printable ASCII characters) is the unique identifier
name for a WLAN. The ID prevents the unintentional merging of two
co-located WLANs.
You may specify an SSID for the camera's wireless card and then only
devices with the same SSID can connect to the camera. If you want to
add an available nearby network to the profile list, pull down the menu.
All the nearby networks will be listed and you can add one of them to
the profile list.
