If you see the message "New Hardware Found"
during the installation procedure (other than
when outlined in the driver install procedure),
click Cancel to close the window, and follow the
installation procedure.
Driver Installation General Guidelines
The driver installation procedure outlined in this Chapter (and in
Chapter 7 Options & Modules), are accurate at the time of go-
ing to press.
Drivers are always subject to upgrade and revision so the exact
procedure for certain drivers may differ slightly. As a general
guide follow the default on screen instructions for each driver
(e.g. Next > Next > Finish) unless you are an advanced user. In
many cases a restart is required to install the driver.
USB Hotfix
In order to resolve issues with USB devices (internal
& external) in 4GB Windows Vista systems we
recommend that you install the USB hotfix driver
provided (see "USB Hotfix" on page 8 -
Windows Update
After installing all the drivers make sure you enable Windows
Update in order to get all the latest security updates etc. (all up-
dates will include the latest hotfixes from Microsoft).
To enable Windows Update make sure you are connected to
the internet:
Click Start, and click Control Panel (or point to

Click Check for updates (Security), or double-click

Security Center and click Windows Update.
Double-click Check for updates (button).
