1. Drain bolt
5. Install the drain bolt, and then tighten it to
the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Drain bolt:
20 Nm (2.0 m0kgf, 14 ft0lbf)
6. Fill the engine with oil and install the oil
filler cap.
Recommended oil:
See page 10-2.
Oil quantity:
Total amount:
1.7 L (1.5 Imp qt, 1.8 US qt)
Periodic oil change:
1.5 L (1.3 Imp qt, 1.6 US qt)

8 In order to prevent clutch slippage
(since the engine oil also lubricates the
clutch), do not mix any chemical addi-
tives. Do not use oils with a diesel
specification of "CD" or oils of a higher
quality than specified. In addition, do
not use oils labeled "ENERGY CON-
SERVING II " or higher.
8 Make sure that no foreign material
enters the crankcase.
