Main switch/steering lock

Mai n swi t c h/ s t e er i n g l o ck
The main switch/steering lock con-
trols the ignition and lighting systems,
and is used to lock the steering. The
various positions are
below.
ON
All electrical circuits are supplied with
power, the taillight and meter lighting
come on, and the engine can be
started. The key cannot be removed.
NOTE:
The headlight comes on as soon as
the engine is started

OFF
All electrical systems are off. The key
can be removed.
ON

The engine oil level warning light
should come on. See page 3-2 for an
explanation of the engine oil level
warning light.
