SMS Message Editing Options

In SMS edit screen, press Options to access the following features:
1.
Send: Sends the message.
2.
Save: Stores the message in Draft.
3.
Insert object: Inserts objects such as Predefined sounds/
animations, and Own animations/pictures/sounds.
4.
Format: Selects Text format and Text colour for the message.
5.
Templates: Provides 10 predefined texts. You may select one to add
to your message.
6.
Insert number: Select a number from Phonebook and add it to your
message.

SMS Settings

To access SMS settings, press Menu > Messages > Settings >
SMS settings. The following describes the setting items:
1.
Service centre: Edits your SMS Message centre number.
2.
Message type: Selects your message type from Standard text/Fax/
X.400/Paging/E-mail/ERMES/Voice mail.
3.
Validity period: Selects the period from 1 hour/12 hours/1 day/1
week/Maximum. It determines the duration the SMS message is
stored at the SMS centre. The selection will have its radio button
marked.
4.
Status report: This feature allows you to get a receipt when the SMS
message is successfully delivered. Press Select to activate the
feature and the check box will be marked. This feature is network
dependent.
5.
Direct reply: If the feature is enabled and available by your service
provider, you may pay for the message sent back to you. Press
Select to activate the feature, and the check box will be marked.
6.
SMS via GPRS: The feature allows you to send your SMS via GRPS
rather than CSD. Press Select to activate the feature, and the check
box will be marked.

Memory Status

To check how much memory is used and left on SIM/phone, press Menu
> Messages > Memory status.
