Turning Phone On or Off

Turning your phone on
1. Press and hold Power/Lock.
NOTE
The first time you use your phone you'll need to set it up. See the Getting Started chapter for details.
Turning your phone off
1. If the display is off, press any of the 4 buttons on the front of the phone or
2. Press and hold Power/Lock
3. When Phone options menu appears, tap

Phone Options

Silent mode
1. Press and hold Power/Lock.
2. Tap Silent mode.
When you select Silent mode,
and alarms are silenced.
NOTE
To turn silent mode off, press and hold

Airplane mode
1. Press and hold Power/Lock.
2. Tap Airplane mode.
When you set Airplane mode,

To turn airplane mode off, press and hold

Entering Your PIN

Some SIM cards come with a PIN (Personal Identification Number) set by your mobile operator. If you're asked for a PIN,
enter it, and then tap OK.
NOTE
If you don't know your PIN, you can contact your mobile operator' s customer service center.

Power off > OK.
is displayed in the Status bar. Ringtones, alerts, and all audible sounds EXCEPT media
