≥This problem is caused by the editing method or material used on DVD-Video, but should be
corrected if you use interlace output. Change "Video Output Mode" in Picture Menu to "625i (or 576i)"
or "525i (or 480i)".
≥Press [PROGRESSIVE] on the main unit so "PRG" is displayed. Or select "625p (or 576p)" or
"525p (or 480p)" in "Video Output Mode" in Picture Menu.
≥If the unit is connected to the television through VIDEO OUT, S-VIDEO OUT or SCART (AV)
terminal, output will be interlace even if "PRG" is displayed.
≥Adjust the position of the FM or AM antenna.
≥Use an outdoor antenna.
≥Turn the television off or move it away from the unit.
≥Separate the antenna from other cables.
≥Press [TV] first to operate the television.
≥Check the remote control code for the TV manufacturer.
≥Check that the main unit and the digital receiver are turned on.
≥Ensure that the digital transmitter is fully inserted into the slot of the main unit.
≥Select "Bright" in "FL Dimmer" in the "Others" tab.
≥You inserted a disc the unit cannot play; insert one it can.
≥You inserted a blank disc.
≥You haven't inserted a disc; insert one.
≥You haven't inserted the disc correctly; insert it correctly.
≥Check and correct the speaker cord connections.
If this does not fix the problem, there is a power supply problem. Consult the dealer.
≥Disc may be dirty. Wipe it clean.
≥Incorrect operation performed. Read the instructions and try again.
≥Trouble may have occurred. The number following "H" depends on the status of the unit. Turn the
unit off and then back to ON. Alternatively, turn the unit off, disconnect the AC mains lead, and
then reconnect it.
≥If the service numbers fail to clear, note the service number and contact a qualified service
person.
≥There is no link between the main unit and the digital receiver. Check that the digital receiver is
turned on.
≥Re-initialize the main unit: While stopped and "DVD/CD" is the source, press and hold [∫] on the
main unit and [S10] on the remote control until "Initialised" (or "Initialized") disappears from the
television. Turn the unit off and on again. If the problem persists, contact a qualified service
person.
≥The operation is prohibited by the unit or disc.
≥You are trying to play incompatible group or content.
≥You are trying to play protected group or content. You cannot play it.
≥Audio has not been recorded, or recorded in a format this unit cannot playback. Video playback
only is possible.
≥This disc may be dirty.
≥You can only play DVD-Video if their region number is the same or includes the same region
number as the unit or if the DVD-Video is marked "ALL". Confirm the region number for the unit
on the rear panel.
≥Select "On" in "On-Screen Messages" in the "Display" tab.
≥You are trying to play the DivX VOD content that was purchased with a different registration
code. You cannot play the content on this unit.
≥The DivX VOD content has zero remaining plays. You cannot play it.
