Positive engagement of the child restraint attaching clip is
achieved by depressing retainer spring and then opening
of the anchor fitting as shown in the illustration.
Method of installation of anchor engagement
1. Child restraint anchor fitting
2. Attachment bolt
3. Lock washer
A 5/16"-UNC-2B-bolt with a thread length of 30 mm is used
to attach the anchor fittings to the vehicle anchorage. For
fitting advice, please contact your authorized Ssangyong
Dealer.

WARNING
Child restraint anchorages are designed to withstand only those
loads imposed by correctly fitted child restraints. Under no circum-
stances are they to be used for adult seat belts or harnesses or
for attaching other items or equipment to the vehicle.
Rear
WARNING
• When installing a child restraint system, follow the instructions
provided by the manufacturer.
• When not in use, keep your child restraint system secured with
a seat belt or remove it from the vehicle.
• Do not hold a child while riding in a vehicle.
• Never let a child stand or kneel on any seat.
• Do not allow a child in the cargo areas while the vehicle is moving.
• Children who have outgrown child restraint systems should sit
in the rear seat and be restrained with the seat belt.
• If child's seating position has a shoulder belt which is on or very
close to the face or neck, move the child close to the center of
the vehicle, slightly inboard of the shoulder belt, or move the child
to a position without a shoulder belt if possible.
