Concerning the MultiMediaCard and SD Memory Card

MultiMediaCard
The MultiMediaCard is a compact, lightweight and
removable external memory card. A great many
fun-filled titles (preset titles) have been recorded
on the supplied MultiMediaCard.
These preset titles will also be erased when the
Card is formatted.
SD Memory Card
The SD Memory Card (optional), which is the
same size as the MultiMediaCard, is an external
memory card with an even bigger memory
capacity. It has a write protect switch to prevent
the data writing and card formatting.
Concerning the compatibility of the Card
images
Image data files recorded on "MultiMediaCard"s or
"SD Memory Card"s by this Movie Camera are
based on DCF (Design Rules for Camera Files
Systems universal standard) established by JEIDA
(Japan Electronic Industry Development
Association).
Concerning the folder structure when using the
Card in a personal computer
When a Card containing recorded data is inserted
into a personal computer, some folders will be
displayed as shown above. (The Cards are shown
as graphical representations.)
[100cdpfp]: The pictures (Imga0001.jpg, etc.) in
this folder were recorded using the
JPEG format.
[Misc]:
This contains the files of the DPOF
data which has been set for the
pictures.
[Title]:
This contains the data of the preset
titles (Pre00001.ttl) and original titles
(Usr00001.jpg, Usr00001.ttl, etc.).
≥[Dcim], [Im01cdpf], [Private], [Vtf], etc. are
needed in terms of the folder structure: these
folders have nothing to do with the actual
operation.
≥In the Card Photoshot Mode, the Movie Camera
automatically saves the file numbers
(Imga0001.jpg, etc.) along with the pictures. A
file number is recorded with each picture as a
running number.
