Protecting the Pictures on a Memory Card from
Accidental Erasure (File Lock)
Precious pictures recorded on a Memory Card can be locked to prevent
accidental erasure. (Even if pictures are locked, the pictures will be deleted
when the Memory Card is formatted.)
After set to the Card Playback Mode {+ 35).....
1 Set[CARD FUNCTIONS] >> [CARD EDITING] >> [FILE LOCK]
>> [YES].
2 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select [PICTURE] or [TITLE], and
then press it.
e The [FILE LOCK] Menu @ is displayed.
3 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select the picture to be locked, and
then press it.
© The [Or] Indication (2) is attached to the selected picture.
e Press the [PUSH] Dial again to cancel.
e The same setting can be performed using the short-cut menu (+ 18).

Deleting the pictures recorded on a Memory
Card
Using the Palmcorder, you can delete the still pictures and titles recorded on
a Memory Card. After the picture is deleted, it cannot be restored.
After set to the Card Playback Mode (+ 35).....
To Select and Delete Picture(s) by selection
T Set [CARD FUNCTIONS] >> [DELETE PICTURE/TITLE] >>
[DELETE PICTURE BY SELECTION] or [DELETE TITLE BY
SELECTION].
2 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select the picture that you want to
delete, and then press it.
e The selected picture flashes.
e To delete more than 1 picture, repeat this step.
Press the [PHOTO SHOT] Button.
e A verification message appears.
4 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select [YES] and then press it.
The selected picture is deleted from the Memory Card.
To Delete all Pictures
Set [CARD FUNCTIONS] >> [DELETE PICTURE/TITLE] >>
[DELETE ALL PICTURES].
e A verification message appears.
2 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select [YES] and then press it.
e All the pictures stored in the Memory Card are deleted.
e A locked picture cannot be deleted.
e The same setting can be performed using the short-cut menu (=> 18).
