Whenever not in use, remove the cassettes from the recorder and keep them in a cover.
For recordings always try to make full use of the entire tape.
o prevent the tape froms sustaining untimely wear and tear, do not re-use the same tape

section for several recording sessions.
To prevent the cassette from sustaining damage, employ due care while inserting it into
the video recorder.
Protect the cassettes against humidity or heat.
Do not expose the cassettes to dust.
Directly dispose of defective cassettes without trying to repair them.
Never open the cassette's housing.
Do not open the protective front flap.
Never touch the recording tape.

Playing back NTSC video cassettes

You can play back NTSC video cassettes for viewing on a PAL system TV set.
If there is any interference when playing back NTSC, try readjusting your TV set.
Read the operating instructions of your TV set. You cannot record or copy
video cassettes in NTSC format.
Cassette erasure protection
Break out the erasure protection tab to protect the cassette against accidental
erasure of recordings you wish to keep. Stick adhesive tape over the gap if you
wish to re-record a protected cassette.
