The appliance is equipped with a safety cap,
which prevents opening of the generator as
long as there is any pressure remaining in-
side. This is an important and indispensable
safety device, and it is necessary to follow
certain procedures when re-filling the tank.
Water out is notified by the indicator light (H)
and by an acoustic warning (if present) inside
the appliance. Whenever you have used up all
the water in the tank, follow the following pro-
cedures:
Switch off the machine at the generator
on/off switch (F).
Operate the steam request switch (K) of
the Steam Disinfector until the steam flow
ceases.
Switch OFF the accessory on/off switch
(A).
Disconnect the power supply cable (I)
from the mains.
Unscrew
anti-clockwise
safety cap (B).
Wait for a few minutes to allow the gener-
ator tank to cool down.
When cool, proceed to carefully refill the
tank as described in paragraph 1 of the
section "Preparation". If refilling the gener-
ator when not completely cooled, we rec-
ommend that you carefully pour only very
small quantities of water at each pouring
into the tank, so as to avoid spitting from
the tank and cover exposed skin and face
whilst filling.
To connect the accessories to the delivery de-
vice, proceed as follows:
Straight extension accessory (1)
Curved extension accessory (4)
Bring the accessory chosen into line with the de-
livery device nozzle (O) and rotate the acces-
sory until it locks into place (fig. 9).
For normal treatments, use the straight extension
accessory (1).
CIMEX ERADICATOR
Use the curved extension accessory (4) to access
hard-to-reach points.
When you have finished using the device, put it
away in a clean and dry place after disconnec-
ting it from the power mains. Keep it away from
sources of heat and protect from the weather.
Before carrying out any maintenance on the
device, always unplug it from the power
mains and allow it to cool down before pro-
ceeding.
• For cleaning the outside of the device we re-
commend using a damp cloth. Do not use sol-
vents or detergents as these could damage
the surfaces.
• If the monotube is torn, it must be replaced by
an authorised service centre.

Clean the delivery nozzle every 10-15 hours of
use.
Clean the delivery nozzle using the brush (6) in-
cluded in the supply, sliding it inside the tube so
as to remove any residues of scaling in it (fig.10).
Cimex Eradicator can turn into an excellent
green cleaning system, thanks to its optional ac-
cessory kit.
• Before treating leather, special fabrics and
wood surfaces, consult the manufacturer's in-
structions and always carry out a test on a
hidden part or on a sample of the material. Al-
low the steamed part to dry to make sure that
no changes in colour or deformations have
occurred.
