If Childproof lock: ON" preselected
q Press the start/stop" button for
approx. 4 seconds. The start/stop"
illuminated ring flashes.
q Make changes as described.
When the required changes have been
made:
q Press the start/stop" button.
The start/stop" illuminated ring lights
up. The programme starts.
i When the programme restarts, the
childproof lock / appliance lock is re
activated.
Topping up or removing
washing
Additional laundry can be placed in the
drum during the wash cycle or taken out
of the drum before the end of the wash
cycle.
q Press the start/stop" button.

hes.
i If Pause"
Top up not possible"
are indicated in succession on the dis
play panel, the washing machine door
cannot be opened for reasons of safe
ty.
If Top up possible" is indicated on the
display panel:
q Open the washing machine door.
q Insert/remove washing.
q Close the washing machine door.
q Press the start/stop" button.
The start/stop" illuminated ring lights
up. The programme starts.

q Top up the washing as described.
i When the programme restarts, the
childproof lock is reactivated.
Cancelling the programme
A programme which has been selected
and started can be ended prematurely.
q Press the on/off" button.
The washing machine is switched off.
q Press the on/off" button again.
The washing machine is switched on
again.
q Select the Drain" or Spin"
programme.
q Press the start/stop" button. The
start/stop" illuminated ring lights up.
The programme starts.

q Press the Change" button.
q Deactivate the childproof lock/
appliance lock permanently,
see Page 31.
q Cancel the programme as described.
