CONNECTIONS
Connection with a TV set equipped only with an antenna terminal
Using the optional RF modulator, connect the VHF ADAPTEB terminal oJ the p ayer to the antenna terminal.

. Set the channel settings of the RF modulator and TV to the same chanhe .

When the power of the player is switched on, the LD/CDV/CD playback screen appears. The TV audio is in monaural.

Switch off the power ot the player when watching the TV.

With this connection scheme, it is not possible to watch a broadcast TV program while p aying an LD/CDV/CD.
For details, read the instruction manual of the RF modulator.
NOTE :
Wlth some W sets, stipe noise may be observed on the TV sueen when an LD is played. ln this case, mave the antenna cable away from
the power cord until the naise disappearc.

AC-3 RF OUT terminal :
This terminal is intended for use w th Dolbv* AC-3 comoo-
nents (*1) planned for luture release. With this termrnal, you
will be able to connect an AC 3 RF input of amplifiers and
surround processors, and playback aser discs formatted with
Dolby AC-3 (*2).
(*1) Indicated with FH (For hardware)
(*2) Indicated with HFI'iiFil (For software)

You cannot p ayback currently availab e laser discs, aser
disc plavers, AV amplifiers, etc., with this terminal.

Do not connect this terminals to the audio inout terminal
of a normal stereo or AV amplifiers.
