Connection with a TV set equipped with Video/Audio inputs

Connection method (Be sure to ptug the cords securelY deep into the connectors')
A Connect the VIDEO OltT jack ol the ptayer to the video input iack ot a TV
(or a fV monitor).

lf the W set has an S VIDEO input jack, cannect it using an S VIDEO cable which ls available in audia/videa storcs.

@ Connect the AUDIO OUT iacks of the plaYer to the audio input iacks of the Tv'

When the player is combined with a component capable of
centralzed control of PIONEER products carrying the ml mark
(optional AV surround amplifier, etc.), it is possible to contro
the entrre system
Using a resistorless cord with mini-plugs (without Load) on
both ends that is available in audio stores, connect the CON-
TROL lN jack of the player to the CONTROL OUT jack of the
comoonenr.

For the connection and ooeration methods, fead the oper-

Once the system remote control connection is made, the
remote control sencer oJ the player will not accept the
femote contro. The remote control unit should be pointed
at the remote control sensor of the connected compo
nenr.

This connectton scheme shows how to connect the audio output to a stereo amplifier while the video output s connected to a TV using one of
the schernes shown above. To reproduce the audio of a Compact Disc or an LaserDisc with improved quality' it is recommended to connect
the p ayer to a stereo amp ifier.
Connect the AUDIO OUT iacks to the input iacks labeled LD, CD or AUX, etc. (Never connect to the PHONO input
iacks.)
