With a CLV extended play disc:
Multispeed playback, lrame advance and still image playback are
not possible. lJ one of the MULTI sPEED (<, >) or (<ll , ll>l is
pressed during playback oJ a CLV disc,'CLV"alarm indication is
disolaved on the screen Jor a few seconds.
In cass . still image appears autom.iically during playback:
Some discs contain special recorded signals called picture stop
codes. When playing such a disc, you can continue playback with-
out displaying still images on the positions where prcture stop
codes are recorded by pressing and holding > on the tront panel
for more than 2 seconds to activate the piclure stop cancel func-
tion. On-screen display
'PSC
ON' is displayed for a few seconds
when this function is activated. To cancel this function, press and
hold > lor more than 2 seconds until
'PSC
OFF' is disolaved on
the screen tor a {ew seconds.
