TYPES OF DISCS WHICH CAN BE PLAYED WITH THIS UNIT
Th s unit is a CD/CDV/LD compatible laserdisc player.
.
The marks shown in the following tab e are found on the label
or jacket of each disc.
This player is capable of playlng the 7 types of discs listed
below without using an adapter.
a To prevent a ma functron, do not use an B_cm (3 in.)adapter (tor
CD)or 20-cm (B in.) adapter (for LD).

There are some drscs marked with the -g mark instead of the

mrrl
.
There are some discs without the #4"
mark.
* This is the united symbol mark of LASERDISC (Laservision v d
eodrsc).
LaserDisc p ayers and discs which bear this symbol and use the
same television system, are mutually compatlb e.
. * A Digital Audio w th lvlu ti Aud o Disc (CD V DEO LD) and a CDV
(CD Video CDV) are referred to as CD Video discs. CD Vldeo
discs are recorded with subcodes, which are the non audio re-
cordings of TOC (Table of Contents) dala sLlch as track num-
bers, index numbers, etc. However, there are some discs with-
out these marl(s,

Never use a cracked or warPed disc.
To avoid danger, never attempt to play a cracked or deformed disc
or a disc which has been mended using an adhesive agent, etc
Also do not use an ana og record spray or statlc prevent on agent

Care of disc
To mainta n high video and audio quality, clean the disc if it gets
dirty bV wiping the disc surface with a soft c oth. When wiping, be
sure to move the cloth in straight directions from the center of the
disc toward the outer edge. Do not wipe in a c rcular direction lik-'
Vou do with analog records.

Do not use an analog record cleaner, benzine, thinner or static
prevention agent.
Storage
After p ayback, be sure to take out the disc from the p ayer, put
the disc in the jacket or case and store it vertically. To prevent the
discs from wraping, do not store jackets or cases at an angle or
stack them horizonta ly. Also do not store them in a place subiect
to direct sunlight or under high temperature and humidity.

lf a LaserDisc is deformed, place it in the inner bag, put the bag
between two f at boards, place a weight of 4 to 5 kg 110 lb) on
the boards and eave them for about a day. This may some-
times reduce the warp or other deJormation.
