OUICK SCANNING OF DISC
CONTENTS
Intro Scan (Available on LD and CDV video

when the button is pressed during playback or in stop modo:
The first I seconds of every chapter will be played in order. When
> is pressed, normal playback starts from that position.
When the disc has been scanned until the last chapter, normal
playback starts from chapter No- 1.
Highlight Scan (Available on CD and CDV

Whon thc button b pressed in stop mode:
Highlight Scan starts, with which on B-second section starting 1
minute aftef the beginning ol every track, will be played in order.
Wh€n tho buttoh is pr6ssed during playback:
Assuming that the time elapsed from the beginning of the track
being played until the position where the button is pressed is
called the Highlight Scan starting period, the on 8-second section
will be played after this starting period, on every track beginning
with track No.1.
NOTES :
. With a CDV, the operatioh begins wlh lntro Scan of the
video paft and continues to Highlight Scan of the audia paft.
. lntro Scan is not available with discs which do not contain
record ed chapte I n u m be rc.
. When a trcck is shorter than I minute ol than the set statt-
ing petiod, Highlight Scan of that thck starts at the begio-
ning and lasts for 8 seconds. ln case a trcck is shorter than I
seconds, it will be played entirely frcm the beginning.

Random playback (CD, CDV and LD with
TOC only)
Press MNDOM.
With an LD, first press OUICK TURN to turn the quick-tLlrn off,
then press > and tinally press RANDON4.
A1l chapters/tracks in the disc are played in a random order select-
ed by the player. Random playback stops after all o{ the chapters/
tracks on the disc have been played.
During random playback:
.
Pressing >> plays the next selected track.
Pressing K< .eplays the t.ack being played Jrom the beginning.
Pressing CLEAR cancels random playback and starts normal
playback.
Pfessing RANDOM again reslarts random playback with a new'
ly selected order of tracks.
