Teletext function

Teletext features may vary depending on the Broadcasting Companies and are only available if the selected channel is

transmitting Teletext.
If the F button is pressed in Teletext mode the cyan contrast scale will appear; press buttons "+" and "-- " to change the
D
settings.
When in Teletext mode, the volume may still be adjusted by pressing buttons "+" or "-- ".

What is FLOF (FASTEXT)?
In FASTEXT mode four differently coloured subjects are shown at the bottom of the screen. To access more information
about one of these subjects, push the appropriately coloured button. This function allows fast access to information on
the subjects shown.
TV/Teletext Mode
TV/TEXT
Press the TV/TEXT button. The screen will display the Teletext page. Press again when you
wish to return to TV mode.
Index
INDEX
Press this button to return to the main index page. Depending on the way information is
transmitted you may have to press a few times to return to the main index page.
Hold
HOLD
Press to hold the current page. Press again to cancel the hold.
Sub Coded Page Access
When Teletext information exceeds more than one page, it may take some time for the automatic changing of
TIME TEXT
the sub pages to reach the sub page you require.
Press the TIME TEXT button; **** will be displayed at the top left of the screen. Enter the desired sub ---page
number. To select sub ---page 5, enter 0, 0, 0 and 5. The TV is now searching for the correct sub page.
You can continue watching the TV programme by pressing the TV/TEXT button. If you switch back to Teletext
and if the entered page is already available, the sub page will be displayed until a new page or programme
position is entered.
To clear the sub page perform one of the following:
` Press the INDEX button.
TV/TEXT
` Select a new page number.
` Change the programme position .
Reveal
REVEAL
Press to reveal hidden words, e.g. crossword or quiz page answers, can also display VPS/PDC codes.
Full/Top/Bottom
F/T/B
Teletext information viewing on the screen.

Page Selection

Pages can be selected in two ways:
a) press the Up/Down buttons to increase or decrease the page number by one;
b) enter the page number using 0 --- 9 on the remote control.
Normalisation
Press the N button to return to TV mode.
Red/Green/Yellow/Blue Buttons
In FASTEXT mode, these correspond to the differently coloured subjects.
Press to expand the top half of the page.
Press again to expand the bottom half.
Press again to return to normal (full) size.
