Main Menu

The Main Menu is your starting point for searching for a destination. The Main Menu also allows you to
customise your Mio, view saved locations as My Place/Home, and search for POIs nearby, and so on.
Main Menu screen options and the order of the options may differ from the above, depending on your
region, maps installed or model of Mio.

Search for places, areas and streets to help
plan your route.
Access your saved locations.
Use your Mio as a hands-free car kit.
Receive live traffic information on your
route and set traffic preferences (may
require optional TMC kit or subscription,
available separately).
Display the calculated route in simulation
mode.
Get help with just a phone call once you
breakdown on the road.
Search for information and POIs for the
city you are visiting using Travel Book.
Search Google online for live Point of
Interest (POI) information.
Switch to AV mode to receive the video
signal from the external AV device.
Search for Points of Interest nearby.
Display the Map screen.
Configure your Mio to enhance your navigation
experience.
Explore the area around your current position
or destination.
Add or begin a planned trip with multiple
waypoints.
Select your navigation mode: Car, Caravan (for
selected models), Truck (for selected models),
or Pedestrian.
Control your Mio by voice, allowing you to
search address/place/POI easily.
Search for information and POIs using the Via
Michelin guides.
Search online for real-time information, such
as live POI and latest weather information.
Set or navigate to your home address.
Record GPS co-ordinates of a location, a
location with a voice recording, or a journey.
