Using the unit with a computer

You can play music you have recorded on your computer through this
unit's speakers by connecting the two with a USB cable.
Before use
Your computer must meet the following conditions for you
to connect it to this unit with a USB cable.
IBM PC/AT operating system compatible
USB board, version 1.0
One of the following operating systems:
Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows
Millennium Edition
Correct operation is not guaranteed if you are using one of the following
operating systems:
¡ Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows NT
¡ When used with Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows 2000, or
Windows Millennium Edition that has been upgraded from Windows
3.1/95/98.
Recommended CPU
MMX Technology Pentium Processor, 266 MHz or equivalent
Note
¡ Operation is not guaranteed even if the above conditions are met.
¡ You cannot control the computer with this unit or vice versa.

Connection
Open the flap on top of the unit (\ \ page 7).
Note
¡ Operation is not guaranteed if you connect a USB hub or extension
cord.
¡ Connect to the root hub terminal if your computer has more than one
USB board. (Read your computer's operating instructions for details.)
