6. Operation of OvenElements
The ovenisequipped w ithanelectronic oven control.
Each ofthefunctions h asbeen factory checked b efore
shipping. However, it issuggested thatyouverify the
operation o ftheelectronic ovencontrols o ncemore. R efer
totheElectronic Oven Control G uide foroperation. Follow
theinstructions fortheClock, T imer, B ake, Broil,
Convection (some models) andClean functions.
Bake-After s etting theovento 350% (177°C) for
baking, t helowerelement in theovenshouldbecome
red.
Broil-Whentheovenissetto BROIL, the upperelement
in theovenshouldbecome r ed.
Clean-When t he ovenissetfor a self-cleaning cycle,
theupperelement should become redduringthe
preheat p ortionofthecycle.
Convection (somemodels)-When t he ovenissetto
CONV. BAKE/ROAST
at 350°F (177°C), the convection
element cycles onandoff andtheconvection f anturns.
Theconvection f anwillstopturningwhentheovendoor
isopened duringconvection b aking or roasting.
WarmerDrawer(somemodels)-Set thecontrol k nob
to HIandcheck to seethe drawer isheating.
When All Hookups are Complete
Make sureallcontrols a releftontheOFF position.
Make sure theflowofcombustion andventilation a irto the
range isunobstructed.

Theserial plate is located on the ovenfront frame
behindthe ovendoor(somemodels) o r on the drawer
sideframe(some models).
Whenorderingpartsfor or makinginquiries aboutyour
range,alwaysbe sureto includethe modelandserial
numbers anda lot number or letterfromthe serial p late
onyourrange.
Yourserial p latealsotellsyouthe ratingof the burners,
thetypeof fuelandthe pressure t he range wasadjusted
forwhenit leftthefactory.
