Amending the name of a Transmitter
It is possible to change the name of each Transmitter using the on screen menu using the
following steps, which will need to be repeated on each Receiver you have.
1. Press Menu and then select Setup and press
OK.
2. The following Menu will be displayed, select
Modify Video Source Name and press OK.
3. A list of the available Transmitters will be displayed. Highlight a Transmitter and press OK.
4. Using the up and down arrow keys you can scroll through the list of numbers and upper and
lower case letters. When you have found the desired character press the right arrow key to
move to the next character. Repeat this until you have acheived the desired name, and then
press OK to store the new name.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each of the Transmitters you have available.
Deleting a Transmitter
1. Press the DELETE button on your remote control to display a list of the available
Transmitters.
2. Use the arrow keys to highlight the Transmitter you want to delete, then press OK to select
the transmitter and then OK again to confirm deletion.

Troubleshooting

The Wireless or Video Link LED is not lit
1. If the Transmitter and/or Receiver are positioned horizontally move them to the vertical
position. Switch both Extender units off and back on.
2. Reduce the distance between the Transmitter and Receiver units and then switch both
Extender units off and back on.
The screen is blank
1. Check that all connections are correctly made and that all units are powered on.
2. Check that the Wireless and Video Link LEDs are lit
The IR Extender does not work
1. Check that the IR Extender cable is correctly connected to the Transmitter unit.
2. Check that the IR Eye is visible and able to directly see your remote control.
3. Reposition the IR Flasher to another location near the IR port of your source device
The Extender says to check the video signal
1. Switch on your HDMI video source
2. Check that the HDMI cable between your HDMI source and the Transmitter unit is correctly
connected
