Tap filter on side of rubbish bin to remove excess dust and
dirt (Fig.5/4).

NOTE: To improve vacuum performance the filter can
be washed in cold water. Allow to air dry completly (at
least 24 hours) before replacing back in the unit.
Empty contents of dirt container into rubbish bin (Fig.5/5).

Return filter to dirt container (Fig.5/6).

Reattach dirt container by twisting to secure into place on
the base (Fig.5/7).

Return unit to base (Fig.5/8).

Filter removal and replacement
Remove dirt container from the unit. Grasp centre tab and
pull to remove filter assembly (Fig.5/9).
