Configuring Joystick Control

The Setup tab's Joystick Control section lets you configure joystick control of PTZ
(Pan/Tilt/Zoom) cameras. Joystick configuration control requires that a joystick is
attached to the computer running the NetGuard.
Note: Even though joystick control is supported for a large number of PTZ
cameras, not all PTZ cameras may be joystick-controlled. Refer to the release
note for information about joystick support for cameras.
Click the Joystick Control section's Setup... button to access the Joystick Setup
window.

The Joystick Setup window's Joystick Axes section lets you configure the axes
used for the joystick.
With a joystick, you are typically able to navigate camera images three-dimensionally, along
three axes: an X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis, where the Z-axis refers to the depth (zoom)
level:
