The first two indicators are self explanatory. The satellite strength indicator provides status on the state of the GPS. When
GPS is locked (obtained a position fix) then this indicator will show between one and five bars. If the GPS has not ob-
tained a lock then another set of red graphics with the letters "SAT" will be displayed until a GPS lock as been achieved.
IMPORTANT: The satellite signal strength indicator provides an indication that you are in Preview Mode during
simulated play. This indicator will be oscillating between one and five bars repeatedly while in Preview Mode. To
obtain actual distances on the course you must have selected the course from Play Golf Main Menu option, not
the Preview Main Menu option. For more information on Preview Mode, see Section 4.
GoMode also has indicators that provide status during play. Time is replaced with the hole number, but the battery and
signal strength indicators provide the same information as they do in BasicMode.

2.5 GoMode

GoMode is enabled on every course before you select your home course. See section 1.4.1 for more information on your
home course selection. To access GoMode, press the side Mode button. The Mode button will allow you to toggle be-
tween, BasicMode Green View, BasicMode Hazard View, and GoMode. You will need to either be playing your selected
home course or have paid for the GoMode upgrade that enables GoMode on all courses. GoMode utilizes our proprietary
imagery process to provide a vivid and detailed rendering of the green and surrounding area. GoMode consists of two
features, Virtual Green View and AnyPoint.
NOTE:
Under preferences, you can choose to have BasicMode Green View disabled. This would change the Mode
button to only toggle between BasicMode Hazard View and GoMode See section 3 for more information.
2.5.1 Virtual Green View
Upon entering GoMode, the uPro Go dynamically generates a rendered view of the green with the distances super im-
posed on the rendering. The surrounding area and bunkers are also included in the rendering. Virtual Green View gives
you a detailed view of the green that maintains proportions, size, distance, and accuracy. It is an accurate representation
of the actual green and surrounding area. Figure 39
