3 Turn On the Camera
Press the power switch to turn on the camera.

The power-on lamp (green) will light for a moment and the monitor will turn on.

Auto Power Off in Shooting Mode (Standby Mode)
If no operations are performed for about 30 seconds (default setting), the monitor willturn off
automatically and the camera will enter standby mode. The camera will then turn off
automatically if no operations are performed for another three minutes (Auto off).
While the monitor is off during standby mode (the power-on lamp flashes), it will turn on
again when the power switch, shutter-release button,

button, or
[E]
button is pressed.
