TROUBLESHOOTING
If you are having trouble connecting to the internet or pairing your modem with your PC, try some
of the following steps:
• If the Bluetooth dongle is not connecting to your PC, try unpairing and then pairing your
device with the PC
• Make sure you enter the correct security code as either '0000' or '1234'
• Restart the PC and modem
• Make sure the USB/COM selector switch is set to the desired operation as either 'USB' for
USB communications or 'COM' for serial/Bluetooth communication
• Make sure the slider switch on the Serial Bluetooth Dongle is set towards the GSM antenna
and not set towards the RS232 connector as shown in section 3.5.
• Make sure you can the correct COM port listed when you created the modem in Windows
• Make sure you SIM card is activated
• Make sure you are using the correct APN settings from your GSM provider
