    If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. USE ONLY IN CARS WITH A 12 VOLT NEGATIVE GROUND. Return it to your Alpine dealer or the nearest Alpine Service Station (Check with your dealer if you are not sure.) Failure to do so may for servicing.

    Source Selection obtained. Controllable with Remote Control Press SOURCE to change the source. This unit can be controlled with an optional Alpine remote control. TUNER  DISC  USB AUDIO/iPod  AUXILIARY  TUNER For details, consult your Alpine dealer. Point the optional remote control transmitter at the remote-control sensor.

    Presetting Stations Automatically Radio Press BAND repeatedly until the desired radio band is displayed. SOURCE/ Rotary encoder /ENTER TUNE/A.ME Press and hold TUNEA.ME for at least 2 seconds. The frequency on the display continues to change while the automatic memory is in progress. The tuner will automatically seek and store 6 strong stations in the selected band.

    Receiving RDS Regional (Local) Stations Press and hold AUDIOSETUP for at least 2 seconds to activate the SETUP selection mode. Rotary encoder /ENTER Turn the Rotary encoder to select the “TUNER” setup mode, and then press ENTER. Turn the Rotary encoder to select the “REGIONAL”, and then press ENTER.

    Receiving Traffic Information CD/MP3/WMA/AAC Press and hold BANDTA for at least 2 seconds so that the “G” indicator lights up.     Method for creating MP3/WMA/AAC files Direct Search Function Audio data is compressed using software with MP3/WMA/AAC codecs. For details on creating MP3/WMA/AAC files, refer to the user’s manual for that software. The unit’s direct search function can be used to search for a file, folder, MP3/WMA/AAC files that are playable on this device have the file extensions.

    Order of files Sound Setting Files are played back in the order that the writing software writes them to the disc. Therefore, the playback order may not be what is expected. Verify the writing order in the software’s documentation. The playback order of the folders and files is as follows.
