Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of your new CHAUVET lighting effect. To assist with the care and use of the product we have prepared this short guide. System Overview The Mirage system is a color changing system designed to create the proper ambiance in any room. It is also designed to be used in any promotional display or exhibit. - Page 3 ART-16CC Color Changing Downlighter The ART-16CC is a compact color changing downlighter.A palette of 6 colors plus white gives the unit the versatility to set the proper ambiance for a room or display. The downlighter must be controlled via the ART-DRI driver unit. They will not function with out the driver.
- Page 4 Installation After installing the ART-16CC downlighters, they must be connected to the ART-DRI system driver. This is done via 6 conductor RJ11 cables / connectors. The ART-DRI must then be connected via the ART-16PS2 power supply to the mains power. The ART-DRI provides the signal to run four channels of Mirage color changers.
- Page 5 ART-16CON The ART-16CON controller allows the user to control the ART-16CC downlighters via the driver unit. The ART-16CON is connected to the ART-DRI via the 4 conductor RJ11 connector. The controller is powered via the driver unit. When connected and powered up, the panel LEDs will flash.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS! ART16CC Lamp Installation and Replacement Please note that the ART16CC comes pre-installed with a 12V 50W MR16 lamp therefore installation may not be required on a new fixture. However, it is very important to follow the procedure detailed below when it becomes necessary to replace the lamp.
