Select the Pairing Code button, type 0000 into the edit field, and
then choose Next.

After a few seconds, you will receive a message informing you
that the Bluetooth device was successfully connected. Choose
the Close button.
If you are using JAWS 12 or earlier, you will need to find the outgoing
port number assigned to the Focus as this is the port JAWS will use to
communicate with the display. To view COM port information, select
Change Bluetooth settings to open the Bluetooth Settings dialog box,
then navigate to the COM Ports page. JAWS 13 and later automatically
detects the appropriate COM port.
To set up a Bluetooth partnership between the Focus display and
computer using Windows XP, do the following:
1.
Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on the computer running
JAWS. If you are using an external USB Bluetooth adapter,
insert it and ensure it is detected properly.
2.
Power on the focus. The firmware version and battery status
information is displayed.
3.
On the computer, go to the Control Panel and select Bluetooth
Devices.
4.
When the Bluetooth Devices dialog box opens, press TAB to
move to the Add button and press ENTER.
5.
Use the SPACEBAR to check the My device is set up and ready
to be found check box then choose Next to begin searching for
Bluetooth devices. This may take several seconds. You are
placed in the list of devices when the search is complete.
6.
Use the ARROW keys to select your Focus display from the list,
for example, Focus 40 BT, and then choose Next. If the Focus
display was not found, make sure it is turned on then select the
Search Again button.
