FAQ

Do I need to fully discharge the battery
before recharging it?
No the Li-Ion system has no memory effect so
you can charge it at any time. The charge will be
retained in storage for much longer than older
battery technology.
My battery is not charging, what's
wrong?
Check to make sure the electrical outlet is
" live" and that the air surrounding the battery
and charger is between
and (75ºF).
Make sure the battery is correctly
fitted.
In case of excessive loading or when exceeding
the allowable battery temperature range of 0-70
°C, the speed is reduced or the machine switches
off. In case of reduced speed, the machine will
not run at full speed until after reaching the
allowable battery temperature again. In case of
automatic shut-off, switch the machine off, allow
the battery to cool down and then switch the
machine on again.
Why does my Multi2PRO stop
sometimes?
See above.
If the blade jams the tool will switch off to protect
the circuits within. Turn off, wait, then turn on
again.
The Multi2PRO wont start, what's wrong?
a)Clean as described in the maintenance section.
b)Check the battery is charged and properly
fitted, also make sure the switch and speed
control are working and being operated correctly.

Why cant I cut/sand as well as
demonstrated?
Grip the tool firmly, the oscillations can be
absorbed by your arm and wrist reducing the
effective cut.
Make sure the cutting tool is in good condition
and the battery is charged.
Don't press the tool too hard, let the accessory do
the work.
Keep moving the blade around in the cut to clear
swarf as this will hinder the cut and cause heat
buildup.
Where should I keep my Multi2PRO?
In a dry place at a stable temperature
10ºC and 24ºC (50ºF and 75ºF)
remove the battery before storage
What should I do if my Multi2PRO gets
wet?
Dry fully for several days in a warm but not hot
place before trying to charge or use.
How can I get my Multi2PRO repaired if it
is damaged?
