VINCI Tab Touch Screen

VINCI Tab uses a capacitive screen meaning the screen can sense contact and gestures
using the electrical properties of the human body. This allows for light touches and motions
of the finger to navigate easily through the VINCI Tab. Proper functioning of the screen
requires a clean contact surface between the human body and the screen to activate
the sensor. As your child has very tiny fingers, please ensure your child has short nails
and help him/her to use their finger tip to create contact between their skin and the touch
screen.
Navigating your VINCI Tab
Your VINCI Tab uses many of the same navigation features you find on other touch-
screen devices.
To navigate your VINCI Tab and its applications, use the touch-screen. Two main finger
movements or gestures will allow you to navigate – tap and slide. You can tap the screen to
select an item. You can slide your finger up, down and side to side to move around
the screen.
Additional applications that you install on your VINCI Tab may support different finger
movements to navigate the application.
VINCI Tab Display
Orientation
VINCI Tab applications can only be viewed in landscape mode. Holding the VINCI Tab in
portrait mode will not result in a change of orientation. Other Android
applications may
TM
allow change in orientation.
Settings
There is a variety of display adjustments such as the Sleep timer that you can make to your
VINCI Tab touch-screen. From the home screen, press the menu button and select the
settings option, then, select the display option to see the different adjustments you can
make. See the SeTTINgS section for more information.
