NORMAL OPERATION

1. Open a hot water tap.
Flow rate to activate the 520
Flow rate to keep the 520 running : 0.4 gallon per minute

ot Water temperatures over 125 F can cause severe burns instantly
or death from scalding.
The outlet hot water temperature of the water heater is factory set at
120 F.
Feel the water temperature before bathing or showering.
On the 520, changing the temperature setting can be done simply by using the 3-digit 7-seg. LED, and
the "Increase" & "Decrease" buttons on the computer board (remote controller is not required)

GENERAL

2. Mix cold water with the hot to get
the correct temperature water.
: 0.5 gallon per minute

TEMPERATURE SETTINGS

-ON THE 520-
The 520 will display the set temperature on the 3-digit 7-Seg. LED on
the computer board. This LED is visible through a small window on the
unit's front cover.
If the remote controller is installed, refer to the remote controller
Installation Manual included with the remote for setting temperature.
