The MFX-C3400 enables your workgroup to electronically capture hard copy documents and
deliver them to e-mail addresses, network locations, fax terminals and USB drives.
E-mail

Deliver documents directly to an e-mail inbox to reduce paper consumption

Utilize the intuitive QWERTY keypad to customize the file name (document being scanned),
subject line (the subject that will appear in the e-mail inbox) and text message (body of the
e-mail). Templates can also be created to seamlessly add e-mail signatures and privacy policies
to outgoing e-mail transmissions.

Manually enter e-mail addresses using the QWERTY keypad or select a location from the e-mail
address book. The address book can contain up to 500 e-mail contacts.

USB

Quickly and securely digitize documents, without a PC, by capturing
images directly onto a USB flash drive via the front-mounted USB port.
40-GB Hard Drive:
Secure printing – Enables users to suppress document printing until a password has been entered on the control panel.

256-Bit Encryption – Enables secure transmission of documents from the PC to the MFP.

Job Timeout – If a secure print job has not been printed within a set amount of time (as selected by the administrator)
the hard drive will automatically erase the job from memory.

Secure Erase – Complete removal of a printed document from the hard drive after printing. The MFX-C3400 hard drive
can completely erase all traces of the print job.
