    Pinch and Spread Pinch the screen using your thumb and forefinger to zoom out or spread the screen to zoom in when viewing a picture or a Web page.     Airplane Mode Airplane mode allows you to use many of your device’s features, such as Gallery, Camera, and Music, when you are on an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls or data is prohibited. When you set your device to Airplane mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or access online information.
  • Page 53 Roaming on Other Networks When you’re roaming on other networks, your call quality and security will be similar to the quality you receive when making calls on the Public Mobile network. However, you may not be able to access certain features, such as data services, depending on the available network. Note: If you’re on a call when you leave the Public Mobile network, your call is dropped.

    Google’s Location Service This service uses Wi-Fi and/or mobile networks to detect your location. Press Home > Menu , and touch System settings > Location services. Touch Google’s location service. (A check mark indicates this feature is enabled.) Read the disclaimer and touch Agree. GPS Satellites This service uses available GPS to pinpoint your location within certain applications such as Google Maps.

    Touch the entry icon at the right of the name. Touch Take photo. to take the photo. If you’re satisfied with the picture, touch Touch to continue.  You may be prompted to size the picture for use with entries. Touch and drag the square to frame the portion of the picture to use.

    Send an Entry’s call to Voicemail You can transfer your entry’s voice call to voicemail anytime you receive it. Press Home , and touch > People. Touch an entry to display it, and then press Menu Check All calls to voicemail. Delete a People Entry You can delete an entry from the entry’s details page.

    Synchronize People Entries Syncing data from your managed accounts allows you to add and manage a new or existing entry from your online or remote accounts to your device. Prior to syncing, you must first have an active Google or Corporate account with current People entries, and be signed into your account via the device.

    Refresh an Email Account Whatever your automatic synchronization settings are, you can also synchronize your sent and received email messages manually at any time. ► While in the account you want to synchronize, touch Delete an Email Message 1.
