5.12 Scalable mode
Scalable mode is to read out arbitrary area of the image. Only single rectangle is selectable. Concave
or convex shape is not selectable.
- Window size: {A x m (H)} x {B x n (V)}
A, B = minimum unit size
m, n = integer
The window size is equal or less than maximum image size.
- Start address: {32 x i (H)} x {12 x j (V)}
i, j = integer
The window size is equal or less than maximum image size.

In the scalable mode, camera reads out only necessary area at the normal speed and reads out other
area at high speed. The frame rate can be faster when the vertical height size is small. However, the
frame rate cannot be faster only when the horizontal width size is small, due to the operation
mechanism of the CCD sensor.
Notes on scalable mode:
White lines may occur in the upper portions of the screen when strong light exists in a wide area
durring the scalable mode. This is not a malfunction. If white lines occur, adjust the amount of incident
light using the lens.
