be heard (if the Confirmation Tone option is enabled, see page 106) and playback
will automatically begin.

button remains pressed. Playback begins immediately when you release the
EWIND
button. If you reach the beginning of the stored audio while rewinding, you will hear
a beep and playback will automatically begin.
Note: Depending upon where in a particular broadcast the channel was selected, the
start of a song or program may not be available in memory. If this occurs, the play-
back will start from where the audio began to be stored.

USING INSTANT REPLAY

When the Instant Replay mode is active, status information is shown at the bottom of the
display screen (see Figure 88).

The Progress Bar shows how much of the Instant Replay memory has been used and
how much remains. A diamond-shaped Play Position indicator is superimposed over the
Progress Bar, providing a visual indicator of the current playback position in the Instant
Replay memory. Icons displayed at the bottom left of the screen indicate the current
Instant Replay mode:
