• "WX" appears when the weather channel group is se-

• "ALT" appears while the weather alert function is acti-
vated.

Blinks when an alert tone is received.
!0 DUALWATCH/TRI-WATCH INDICATORS (p. 15)
"DUAL" appears during dualwatch; "TRI" appears during
tri-watch.
!1 SCRAMBLER INDICATOR (Available for I/S version only)
Appears when the optional voice scrambler is activated.

Appears when a duplex channel is selected.
!3 SUB CHANNEL READOUT
• Indicates Channel 16 during priority scan, dualwatch or

• Indicates the SET mode item while in SET mode.

• Indicates the selected operating channel number.
• In SET mode, indicates the selected condition.
