The Shure UA101 Remote Mute Switch lets you remotely mute the Shure UC1/L
bodypack transmitter during presentations or performances. The UA101 is ideal for
vocalists, lecturers, clergy, referees–anyone who needs easy, instant ability to
mute the bodypack transmitter.

INSTALLATION

1. Plug the UA101 into the UC1/L transmitter.
2. Clip the UA101 to your belt or waistband.
NOTE: The UA101 is factory preset for "Push-to-Mute" mode.

OPERATION

AUDIO ON/OFF SWITCH MODE
1. Rotate the function selector to the LOCKING position.
2. When you need to mute the transmitter, press the on/off button so that it is in the
"down" position.
3. To unmute the transmitter, press the on/off button so that it is in the "up" position
and continue speaking.
MOMENTARY MODE
1. Rotate the function selector to the MOMENTARY position.
2. Press and hold the on/off button to mute the transmitter. When you are finished
speaking, release the on/off button to unmute the transmitter.
