    AXIS 5470e User’s Guide Product Overview The AXIS 5470e is a LAN attached multiprotocol print server that prints IBM and ASCII data streams to any ASCII printer. Supporting IBM Mainframes, AS/400, NetWare, UNIX, LAN Server Manager, Windows, OS/2 and Apple EtherTalk, this product is ideal for IBM Mainframe and AS/400 sites that are migrating from pure IBM networks to LAN environments.

    Installation Overview To get your print server up and running on your network, follow the instructions below: • Connect the AXIS 5470e to your network and to your printer as described in Connecting the Printer to the Network on page 8.
