The only way to disconnect the device from the mains supply is to unplug the adapter. Only unplug the mains adapter from the socket when you are not using the device.

    BASIC FUNCTIONS ______________________________ Inserting a CD The device is suitable for music CDs displaying the logo shown here (CD-DA) and for CD-Rs and CD-RWs with audio data or MP3 and WMA formats. As well as standard 12 cm CDs, it can also play 8 cm CDs without an adapter.

When naming files in MP3 or WMA format, do not use any special characters as they will not appear on the display.
