NetWare Packet Signature
Level 1,2,3
Web Flash-Loading
Protects servers and clients using the NetWare Core Protocol™
services. NCP packet signature prevents packet forgery by
requiring the server and the client to sign each NCP packet. See
your Novell NetWare documentation for detailed information.
The firmware can now easily be upgraded, since flashloading
over the web is possible from the print server's internal web
pages. Client software is no longer needed to upgrade the
firmware. See Upgrading from the Print Server's Internal Web
Pages, on page 140.
The firmware can also be upgraded wirelessly over Bluetooth.
