What to do if...

Certain problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can
be solved easily without calling out an engineer. Before contacting your local
Service Centre, please carry out the checks listed below.
During machine operation it is possible that the red pilot light of button
one of the following alarm codes appears on the display and at the same some
acoustic signals sound every 20 seconds to indicate that the machine is not
working:
E10
: problem with the water supply
E20
: problem with water draining
E40
: door open.
Once the problem has been eliminated, press button
If after all checks, the problem persists, contact your local Service Centre.
Malfunction

Possible cause
The door has not been

Close the door firmly.
Insert the plug into the
power socket.
Please check your domestic
electrical installation.
Replace the fuse.
Please turn the selector dial
and press button again.
Cancel the Delay Start or
deactivate the Child Safety
Lock.
Open the water tap.
Check the inlet hose
connection.
Clean the water inlet hose
filter.
Close the door firmly.
