6 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - preset buttons
You can store six stations on each FM
memory bank (I, II, T).
To store a station: Press button du-
ring radio operation and hold down until
the radio resumes play.
To recall a station: Select the desired
memory bank pressing the FM
and press the relevant preset button
briefly.
Extra function:
Coding: Read chapter "Anti-theft co-
ding" first.
Buttons 1, 2, 3, 4 - To enter the four-
digit code.
Press each of the buttons as many
times as required until the code num-
ber given in the car radio passport
stands in the display.
7 TA (priority for traffic announcements)
When "TA" is displayed, the system will
only tune into stations offering traffic
information.
To switch TA on/off: Press the TA but-
ton.
Extra function:
To adjust the traffic message and
warning beep volume.
8 FM
T
To switch between the FM memory
banks:
Press button until the desired memory
bank (I, II, T) is displayed.
T - Travelstore
button
To store and recall the six most power-
T
ful stations of your current reception
area.
To store with Travelstore:
Press FM
until the search starts in the
T
display. The system will store the found
stations automatically.
To recall a station stored with Tra-
velstore:
Press FM
until "T" is displayed. Then
T
briefly press one of the presets 1-6.
9 AF
(Alternative Frequency during RDS
operation)
When "AF" lights up in the display, the
radio will automatically search for a
frequency offering better reception of
the same RDS program.
To switch AF on/off: Press AF briefly.
Extra functions:
REG ON / REG OFF - With REG ON
the system will only switch to an alter-
native frequency if the latter belongs to
a linked station offering the same regio-
nal program (see "REG - regional pro-
gram).
Manual station tuning:
When AF is switched off, the system
will automatically switch to manual sta-
tion tuning.
Use the
buttons to alter the fre-
quency in steps of 50 kHz.
