Hello. My treadmill was gifted to me by my father, but I am struggling with how to lower the treadmill from the upright position. It seems as though the larch knob is missing a piece, or that it otherwise isn't working. Can you please advise?

To lower the Pro-Form 600 Lt Treadmill from the upright position:
1. Hold the upper end of the treadmill frame with your right hand. 2. Pull the latch knob to the left. If needed, push the frame forward slightly. 3. Pivot the frame downward a few inches and release the latch knob. 4. Hold the metal frame with both hands and lower it to the floor carefully. 5. Do not hold the frame by the plastic footrails. 6. Bend your legs and keep your back straight. Use a mat under the treadmill to protect the floor.
