Water Dispenser Owner’s Manual – 200 Series IMPORTANT: This manual includes important safety material; please read all instructions before plugging power supply cord into receptacle.
Load water bottle FIRST. STOP & READ DIRECTIONS STOP before plugging in dispenser. Read complete HOW TO INSTALL instruction sequence before THEN plug plugging in and turning on dispenser. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Basic safety precautions should be followed when using electrical appliances, including: • Only plug in dispenser in the sequence the manual indicates (see HOW TO INSTALL AND USE).

CHILD SAFETY CAUTION: Supervise children when using the dispenser. The hot dispenser faucet is equipped with a child safeguard that reduces the risk of hot water being dispensed accidentally or by small children. To dispense hot water, simultaneously depress the child safety lock (located above the left hot faucet handle) and the left hot faucet handle. Do not allow children to hang, climb or stand on the dispenser; the dispenser could fall over and the child could be injured. RECEIVING Inspect the dispenser box carefully for any evidence of shipping or handling damage before signing to receive goods. In case of shipping damage, claims should be filed immediately with the carrier. HOW TO INSTALL AND USE WARNING: Read through every step in HOW TO INSTALL AND USE before plugging in or turning unit on. 1. Install dispenser on a level floor strong enough to support it when fully loaded.

10. Place a cup under the dispenser faucet. To dispense hot water, depress the child safety lock (located above the left hot faucet handle) and the left hot faucet handle simultaneously until water flows continuously. Next, depress the right cold water faucet handle to make sure there is a continuous flow of water. 11. Now, plug dispenser into the power supply using a GFCI outlet. Turn on the hot tank heater switch located at the rear of the unit. 12. Install drip tray grill. 13. Dispense water. NOTE: It takes approximately 1 hour for water in the dispenser to become hot and approximately 4 hours for cold water to reach optimum temperature. CLEANING AND SANITIZING WARNING: Always unplug dispenser before cleaning. IMPORTANT: It is recommended that the dispenser be cleaned two times a year.

8. Drain excess water through faucets. Water will remain in bottom half of reservoir; to lower water below the faucet outlet height, tilt dispenser forward slightly while depressing the cold faucet handle. 9. Remove faucet handles (using thumb and forefinger). Reach inside top front of dispenser and squeeze pivot clamp to release and remove faucet handles. Set aside for cleaning. 10. Remove reservoir. Release locking clips and slowly lift reservoir from dispenser. 11. Remove baffle from reservoir. Empty remaining water from reservoir. 12. Thoroughly clean reservoir with a mild chlorine sanitizing solution. To make the sanitizing solution, simply add 1/8 teaspoon of ordinary 6.0% maximum unscented household bleach to a 2-quart pitcher filled with tap or bottled water. Do not add concentrated bleach to the dispenser as this could damage the unit. 13. Wipe upper reservoir support with a clean rag. Using a bottle brush and the sanitizing solution, clean hot tank inlet and outlet openings. Inlet Outlet...

14. Clean hot tank with sanitizing solution. Prior to cleaning hot tank, position bucket or container under drain assembly. Using a sanitized funnel, carefully pour solution into tank through inlet opening. Rinse with clean water. Dry all accessible parts thoroughly. 15. Clean drip tray, faucet handles and separator with mild soap. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly. 16. Reassemble. Ensure all seals/gaskets are reinstalled properly before installing red silicone plug and drain cap. 17. Install a full water bottle on dispenser (see HOW TO INSTALL AND USE). 18. Plug in dispenser using a GFCI outlet and turn on hot tank switch located at the rear of unit. 19. Dispense water. CLEANING CABINET 1. Unplug dispenser from power outlet prior to cleaning cabinet. 2. All plastic parts can be cleaned using a cloth and warm, soapy water. Rinse with clean water. Never use scouring pads, steel wool or scouring powder. 3. Condenser tubes located on back of dispenser should be vacuumed. REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS • To remove mineral deposits, mix a cleaning solution of 2 quarts of water with 2 quarts of vinegar or mix 1 gallon of water with 2 cups of citric acid crystals. Do this in place of the chlorine bleach solution described under CLEANING AND SANITIZING RESERVOIR. NOTE: Bleach does not remove mineral deposits.
TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING: Always turn off dispenser and unplug from power outlet before inspecting or starting any maintenance. WATER IS LEAKING • Bottle may have a leak. Remove and install new bottle. WATER DOES NOT FLOW FROM DISPENSER • Make sure bottle is not empty; if empty, replace bottle. • Make sure to push down on faucet handles fully. • Inspect to see if there is a pinhole in the bottle; if so, replace bottle. WATER TASTES BAD • Dispenser may need to be cleaned (see CLEANING AND SANITIZING). WATER NOT HOT OR COLD ENOUGH • Check to make sure dispenser is plugged in and the switch is turned on.
